The "Chasing Light Beams – the Grateful Dead Collection" is a continuing exploration of Brian's need to explore alternative creative ideas, processes and directions in his photographic works. Experimenting with all of the various aspects of an image — the composition, the colors, the light, the textures, the movement, Brian became very excited as the processes evolved and revealed the hidden magic deep inside a photograph. He found motion and movement within the image that he hadn't seen before. Colors presented themselves in ways that the original had only hinted at. The process directed him to explore and create, just as a musician uses notes, chords, words, and melodies to create their songs.
The "Chasing Light Beams – the Grateful Dead Collection" is an ongoing and ever-evolving process. All of the images in the "Chasing Light Beams – the Grateful Dead Collection" were captured at different Dead and Company concerts over the last several years. No two images are made using the exact same techniques, making each one unique and compelling in its own right.
The "Chasing Light Beams – the Grateful Dead Collection" images are all limited edition prints and available in multiple sizes. Each fine art print is printed by the artist in a professionally calibrated, controlled environment using archival pigment inks, and the highest quality, acid-free, 100% cotton rag fine art papers. Limited edition prints are all signed, numbered, dated, and blind-embossed with the artist's logo, and include a Certificate of Authenticity.
