2020 is in the rear view mirror and I believe I heard a world wide collective sigh of relief at midnight on the 31st of December! We finally made it. And what better way to start the new year than with a new exhibit and award!
I'd like to thank the Collective Visions Gallery in Bremerton, WA and juror Michael D'Alessandro for selecting "Through the Haze" as the 1st place choice in the
photography/digital art category in the 14th Annual CVG Show. It's an honor to be chosen amongst such talent. Thank you again!
"Through the Haze" was captured at Lake Crescent on the Olympic peninsula on a foggy and smoke filled morning during the record setting wildfires that burned through the western United States in 2020. It was captured using an Alpa TC with 35mm lens and a Leaf Aptus-II 12R digital back.
